About Us

Ian and Dave are two Floridans who felt cursed to grow up in a land so flat.

You see, they were blessed with sink holes and alligators, but alas- no big ole rocks to climb upon. So they set their eyes on the rolling hills and began scrambling through the crags of the southeast.

They craved to show the world all of the people and places they have found along the way.
 

So here they are making movies- hoping that they can let everyone know how awesome climbing is and how good life can be. 

Ian works full time as a Theatre Designer and Yoga Teacher. Within Topout TV he is able to combine his creative projects with his love of management... which more or less means he sends emails and tells Dave to edit faster. But he also gets to make connections with great communities and greater mountains. In his free time he goes climbing, reads books, and chases cars. His favorite books are Dune, Good Omens, and A Fearless Heart. His favorite tree is the Baker Cypress and his favorite creature is a raccoon.

Dave is a freelance videographer and business owner. He’s been honing his craft for 10 years and is stoked to bring those skills to the crag. “Combining rock climbing with video has been a game changer for me,” he says. “It’s fun, but it’s also pushing me to grow creatively and professionally in a whole new way.” Dave is dedicated to telling great stories, capturing cool moments, and honoring the people and places they come across in their filming adventures.
